I believe in what I do and it shows in my daily life. I have been active, healthy and fit my entire life. I am over 50 years old and appreciate the fact that on any given day, I am fit enough to run a race, jump over obstacles, climb mountains (or levees), lift heavy objects, or just take my dogs for a walk.
I recognized the why and when I SHOULD become a trainer. Training other people wasn't always my goal. My goal was to BE ALL I COULD BE, on the sports field, or bodybuilding stage, or obstacle course, or any number of other events I enjoy competing in. Then one day, I realized I wanted everyone around me to be ALL THEY COULD BE, and I knew at that moment, I wanted to become a certified personal trainer to help people who wanted to move well, get strong, and enjoy the daily benefits of a fit and healthy life.
I have the education and experience to train both men and women of all ages, and I do. But ladies in particular, I need you to listen carefully, WE ARE NOT SMALL MEN, and therefore we do not train like small men. Our hormones can not be ignored, but lucky for you, not only am I a woman, in an effort to really get it right, I am constantly doing research on training and nutrition techniques we need to live by. There is so much information and studies out there that pertain to how we, as women, can reach our optimal physical life, we need to understand it and use it - I AM HERE TO HELP YOU DO THAT!
